England legend Gary Lineker has revealed he snubbed a move to BBC rival Sky and will focus on his own podcast.
The 64-year-old presenter will leave Match of the Day in May after 26 years and will quit all BBC programmes in 2026, following the completion of the FA Cup and next year’s World Cup.
Asked what job he will take up next amid speculation linking him with a move to Sky Sports, Lineker
told ESPN. “I don’t think you’ll see me doing much football work, apart from the podcast. “
I’ll do things but I don’t think you’ll see me appear too often on any other channel.
